About Me:

I grew up in Harlem New York and I have been playing basketball since I was in third grade. Back in those days there simply was not basketball for girls. But my passion for the game was so intense and so noted in my game that I was selected to play in an all boys team representing my school. May I add that not only did we win many championships, but I was also honored as an MVP, and given a trophy for excellence as a three point shooter from the Kennedy Knight Center for young talented athletes in New York. Not bad for a white girl in Harlem in a catholic school. Through the years I have been fascinated by an elite group of athletes that are for me the people that have made their sport the great game that we all enjoy today. Without the Bill Russell's, Wilt Chamberlain's, Dr. J, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and so many others the Dwayne Wade's of today would not exist. I have had the pleasure to watch the sports teams evolve through the years and it has been a great pleasure to watch Bill Walton and the Lakers and all these greats. I only dislike the people that are currently giving a black eye to sports too much unsportsmanlike attitude on the court the physical contact that is beyond what is required to play the game. The Indiana Pacers suck...they are a very ugly example of a true champion and they make Larry Bird look so bad. These guys need to bring back the true sportsmanship to the court.

Or Mr. October Reggie Jackson hitting 44 home runs to win the 1977 World Series. with the very best team of the Yankees ever. Or the Williams sister's winning at Wimbledon a dream of Arthur Ashe another great Athlete. I have so many memories even having met a great boxer Mr. Floyd Patterson some years back and who could forget The Mohammed Ali Joe Frazier match with the very best sports commentator ever Mr. Howard Cossell.Come on sports just provides so many great memories it is hard to pick just one.
