The first series is now under our belt and what have we learned?  We’ve learned that the first ever undefeated MLB season is out of the conversation, that this offense will be just fine without Albert Pujols and that, conversely, great pitching still stifles great offense.

There really isn’t much more we could’ve asked for after 4-games.  Pending Jake Westbrook’s start tonight, our rotation looks every bit as solid as we hoped for coming out of the gates....
