Cards disable Craig, McClellan; bring up Chambers, Dickson
Outfielder/first baseman Allen Craig and reliever Kyle McClellan were put on the 15-day disabled list Friday by the St. Louis Cardinals, who summoned reliever Adron Chambers and right-hander Brandon Dickson from Class AAA Memphis to take their place on the roster.
Craig is suffering from a strained left hamstring, while McClellan has a strained right elbow.
Chambers hit .308 in 37 games for Memphis, while Dickson was 2-3 with a 3.42 ERA in dight starts for Memphis....

Redbirds' starting pitcher Brandon Dickson pitched out of the stretch just three times Wednesday night, all three times coming in the fifth inning.
Considering he pitched eight innings, needless to say it was a strong effort turned in by the Redbirds' ace. Dickson tossed a three-hitter as the Redbirds bounced back from Tuesday's blowout loss to Iowa with a 2-1 win in front of 3,960 at AutoZone Park....
